RV Travel Tips
Tips to make the most of your RV holiday
USA Safe Driving
You must always drive on the right hand side of the road, obey all traffic signals and signage, wear a seatbelt whilst in a vehicle and the driver must have their licence with them at all times when driving. Please note you will be charged for any traffic infringement, speeding or parking fines or road toll fines that you incur.
To ensure your safety Cheapa has some travel restrictions for certain vehicles and may restrict travel to certain areas due to adverse road or weather conditions.
Two Wheel Drive vehicles can only be driven on sealed/bitumen roads or well maintained access roads less than 550 miles long to recognised campgrounds. Four Wheel Drive vehicles can be driven on recognised unsealed tracks.
Vehicles are not allowed to operate in Death Valley and other desert areas during the months of May to September. Travel to Mexico, Alaska, Yukon and Northwest Territories & Newfoundland is strictly prohibited.
Due to restrictions on vehicle heights, propane gas and parking, vehicles with propane are not permitted in Manhattan and are not permitted to travel through any underground or underwater tunnels. An additional surcharge applies for travel to the Burning Man Festival.
Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for more information.
